Marilyn
I was born and raised in Victoria and I have always enjoyed being active in the community that I love.
In 1973 I started as the administrator of a program that is now called “C-FAX Santas Anonymous”, after holding that position for 9 years I remained on as a Director on the Board until this year when I retired from the Board after 34 years I was given a Lifetime Achievement Award and I was made an Honourary Director. I was an original member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Victoria Christmas Bureau. In 1981 I was given a very special honor by being chosen “Lady of the Year” in Victoria for community work. In 2004 I was given the "Woman of Distinction Award" for community legacy.
In 1981, I obtained my Real Estate license and I have enjoyed a very fulfilling career since that time. In 1993 I was an instructor for the B.C. Real Estate Association for their Post Licensing Course. From 1994 to 2003 I was the instructor for the Victoria Real Estate Board's Orientation Course for new realtors entering the business. I have served on the Training and Education Committee and the Business Practices Committee at the Victoria Real Estate Board.
Vern
I was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and moved to Victoria at the age of 11, which makes me feel like a native Victorian. After having worked for a local company, in an entirely different industry for 40 years, twenty years as a manager, I decided it was time for a change. A career in Real Estate seemed only natural after having been involved with the business for as long as Marilyn has been a Realtor. Since starting in the business in May of 1997 Marilyn and I have worked very successfully as a team.
We listen to your needs, wants and desires and try to make as many of these as possible come true for you. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the time, energy and stress involved in selling your home or assisting you in purchasing your new home, and making it a pleasant experience. We feel comfortable working the entire spectrum of the residential Real Estate industry in Victoria and surrounding areas.
